Stonebrooke Farm offers a quiet, family-oriented hunter/jumper equestrian farm setting in the serene prarie-like fields of rural unicorporated Elgin, IL.

At Stonebrooke Farm, we encourage and support the development of each individual rider from the bottom up.
We are passionate about  having our riders learn all they can about horses and proper riding techique in order to become the best rider they can be.

We have room for everyone, from the pony-obsessed child to the seasoned and committed competitor.
We work with each indiviudal rider to determine their short-term and long-term riding goals, agree upon an approach to reaching their goals, and then work together to successfully achieve these goals.

Each rider and horse duo is paired with the aim of benefitting  both horse and rider in pursuit of each rider's goals.

Participation in horse shows is made available to our riders, with showing opportunities as part of local schooling circuits, IHJA B, and A shows.  For those desiring to be part of horse shows, we have somewhere for everyone to participate.

For riders looking for the fun of a horse show with a little less of the cost, we offer both High School and Middle School IEA teams.
There is a place for everyone at Stonebrooke Farm!

Christine Weaver
Christine started riding at 5 years old and continued on to showing various circuits by the
age of 6.

Having trained under many local professionals, Christine has been able to develop a great understanding of horse, rider, and everything in between. These interactions have not only given Christine 19+ years of personal enjoyment and success, but also allowed her to build considerable levels of knowledge, skill, and experience as a professional horse trainer and riding instructor.

Throughtout her junoir showing career, Christine helped break, train, and sell many project horses to fund her horse showing habit. Which is where Christine's joy for working with young or green horses emerged.

Christine's passion and devotion to her chosen profession is always on display as she puts the safety, welfare, and enjoyment of her horses and riders as her top priority.  The teaching and training methods Christine offers at Stonebrooke Farm focus on correct flatwork, using fundamentals of basic dressage and equitation skills to ensure a strong, smart rider.

Horsemanship and sportsmanship are also a large part of Christine's instruction. From horse care to barn management, a central goal of Christine's instrucion is that each rider leaves the barn having learned more than just how to ride a horse. In addition, Christine strives to work from ground-up with each rider to find their best possible equine partner.
